Research Blog (updated)
As I did not previously mention in my previous research blog, albeit i have researched the photographers that I previously mentioned in the last post, but i forgot to discuss/mention the fact that they will, or should i say by now, have inspired my work in some form.
Looking back on the projects in which i have been tasked with and completed over the last few months, i can see that parts of their work have inspired part of my work; for example with my high speed images which we all completed as a group a few weeks ago, that Harold Edgerton, the originator of high speed images, his work has inspired mine as i can see a comparison from his work in mine/ours, meaning the inspiration, referring to using the same techniques in which he used to create his images.
Another example of this is when i was processing my stop motion project, i gained my inspiration for my stop motion from watching Koyaanisqatsi. I took inspiration also from 80's film stop motion clips which we looked at and took note from during one lesson about month ago, the inspiration i took from it was the different motions that the actors in the stop motion, how they are jumping and how that particular capturing sequence etc. - if you look at my stop motion narrative sequence, i have applied this to it, albeit my narrative stop motion sequence includes a skateboarder and i took the shots from above so there is going to be jumps involved but i tried to include that aspect in some sort of form.
