Project evaluation

Now that i have completed my tasks for my time project, i can now fully reflect on and evaluate the work and progress in which I obtained.

Have you reflected on your progress? -

After every task in which i had to complete for the project, especially when it comes to my experimental sequences, i have reflected back on them, where i have questioned on how it was successful, what was least successful & how i can improve for next time if i was chose to that particular experimental sequence.

I can say from my analysis and reflection on them, i can say that there was more success then less-successful elements, but despite that i know where i can improve on them.

What have you learned and how have you improved? -

I can say that now that i have completed the project, i have learned quite a few new things, that includes during the process of the project also, such as for example i have learned how to take high speed images by studying and researching Harold Edgerton, and incorporating his techniques into my work, and as well Edweard Muybridge, and his early sequences of horses and the subject of time lapse of movement, and how to apply that, as well as create my own time lapses, whether they be based on decay or movement, both of which i had to experiment by doing during the course of the project.

I have also learned during the project how to improve on stop motion making and techniques, when it came to creating my experimental stop motion narrative sequence, improving on my ability of doing it and creating them as i had to create one during my media course last year, but this time i can also include any techniques in which i had researched and learned about during this course, which therefore helps me improve over all.

I have also improved in my ability in editing and photography skills as well, as i had to use both of them features/aspects during the course when i was completing my experimental sequences and during post-production of them to perfect them, such as using premier pro and after effects.

  1. Matt I think you have done some good work. Your Blog is accessible, progression can be seen however outcomes have not successfully been uploaded so cannot be marked at present
