lesson reflection - 12/3/18

during this lesson, i felt that I've done quite well as i have managed to complete and upload three blogs for this unit - that being my attempt at After effects, finally finished off my blog on the pinhole experiment which i will do an updated blog once it is time to hand in the experiment on the 23rd of this month, I've also uploaded my time lapse etc. research.

i have also started my blog on stop motion/narrative sequence, ready for when I've finished my narrative sequence, which all be it i have still not completed, as i was meant to start it last week but unfortunatly i was unable to obtain a camera and tripod, but i'm making my main task to complete it this week.

Now that i have completed my tasks for my time project, i can now fully reflect on and evaluate the work and progress in which I obtained. Have you reflected on your progress? - After every task in which i had to complete for the project, especially when it comes to my experimental sequences, i have reflected back on them, where i have questioned on how it was successful, what was least successful & how i can improve for next time if i was chose to that particular experimental sequence. Time Lapse/ sequences of movement research Time-lapse photography is a technique whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured (that being the frame rate) is much lower than that used to view the sequence. When played at normal speed, the sequence’s time frame allows making the sequence appear that it is, that being time is moving faster, thus lapsing.   An example, an image of a scene may be captured once every second, then is edited to be played back at 30 frame per second, therefore the result is an apparent 30 times speed increase. Time-lapse is the extreme version of the cinematography technique of undercranking. Stop motion animation is a comparable technique of this. stop motion/ experimental sequence of narrative

Stop motion is an animation technique that physically manipulates an object so that it appears to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a fast sequence. Stop motion is often confused with the time lapse technique, where still photographs of  alive surrounding are taken at regular intervals and combined into a continuous film; but also be considered the same in some faction.
